Rev. Mario Tafferner, PhD (cand.), serves as Instructor for Old Testament Language and Literature at Tyndale Theological Seminary in Badhoevedorp, The Netherlands. He holds an MA in Semitics and Ancient Near Eastern Studies from the University of Marburg and is currently pursuing a PhD in Old Testament at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School where he previously served as The Center for Bioethics & Human Dignity's Research Analyst and Robert D. Orr Endowed Fellow. He also is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in America, serving under the denomination’s foreign mission agency.
Mario is originally from Germany. Together with his wife, Elsbeth, and their daughter, Natalie, he currently resides in Badhoevedorp, a suburb of Amsterdam.
