Glory Diaz

Communications Manager and Executive Assistant

Though I am new to CBHD, my family and I have been a part of the Trinity International University (TIU) community for many years now. My husband currently works for the Student Affairs Department and we are both alums of the University. We live on campus with our two daughters.

In addition to obtaining my BA in Communications from TIU, I have also completed the Web Graphic Design coursework from DeVry University, and I am currently working toward my master’s degree in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management.

Prior to coming on staff at CBHD, I served as the project manager on several marketing/branding projects aimed at constructing new identities for the respective companies. I also served as a Special Events Coordinator at a not-for-profit organization.

Throughout my professional experience I have gained a strong understanding of the importance and impact of communication, marketing, and media use within an organization. I come to the Center with several years of experience in project management, media writing, and layout design. I enjoy the challenge of taking a project from start to finish, ensuring it is completed well.

In my role as Communications Manager, I am helping the Center streamline communication processes and working to ensure that strategic communication and marketing projects are completed. I also develop and maintain consistent communication with external audiences for CBHD, as well as provide support to our Executive Director.

I consider it a privilege to work for an organization that is helping to provide a much-needed Christian perspective on pressing, bioethical issues.  I have a deep appreciation for CBHD’s work of bringing clarity to the complex issues of today. I am very excited to be a part of the CBHD family, and I look forward to using all that the Lord has equipped me with to help advance the goals of the Center.

Paige Cunningham, JD “Glory Diaz is a real ‘find.’ She has a diverse set of skills that perfectly fit the needs and vision of CBHD. Glory also has that fresh perspective of someone who is new to bioethics, which will help us communicate more effectively to a broad audience. Glory has hit the ground running, and we are happy to have her here.”

Brandi Williams

Event and Education Assistant

Currently I am a third year Master of Divinity student at Trinity International University (TIU) and serve as the President of Blacks & Latinos at Trinity (BLT) for the graduate student community. Working at CBHD as Event and Education Assistant is my newest role on campus, and I count this as one of the many ways that God has blessed me to be invested in the Trinity community beyond my academics.

Prior to beginning this journey I completed my undergraduate studies at DePaul University in 2004 (BA Sociology) and worked as a caseworker with pregnant and parenting teens on Chicago’s northwest side. Following that time I tapped into my gifts of hospitality and administration when given the opportunity to host events for a local marketing company. This unexpected break along with serving in the Project Management Department at my home church has provided me with the experience to host and assist in executing such an extraordinary event as CBHD’s annual summer conference.

As I continue to settle in as a member of the CBHD family I look forward to learning and witnessing the overwhelming relevance of the gospel to our postmodern situation. Moreover, as I complete my studies here at TIU it is my intent to focus on utilizing my gifts, skills, and abilities in the areas of spiritual formation and racial reconciliation. Some of my goals include integrating theological wisdom into fashion and other art forms, hosting Christian conferences, and conducting diversity training for churches and other religious institutions.

Jennifer McVey, MDiv “Brandi is a great asset to the Event and Education team. She is very competent and exhibits grace under pressure. The expertise Brandi brings to the table helped the conference run smoothly.”
