Teresa Iglesias, D.Phil.

Dr Iglesias is an academic philosopher and ethicist who currently serves as a lecturer in philosophy and medical ethics (with a special emphasis on bioethics) at University College in Dublin, Ireland. She holds the Lic.Phil. and the D.Phil. from Madrid University and the D.Phil. from Somerville College at Oxford University. Dr Iglesias has been a visiting scholar at the University of Chicago and has also held a Visiting Fellowship at the Royal Irish Academy at New Hall College, Cambridge University A member of various professional bioethics and philosophy associations, she is the author of numerous bioethics publications and is a co-author of the Center’s book The Reproduction Revolution (Eerdmans 2000).

Scoff Rae, Ph.D

Dr. Rae is currently Professor of Biblical Studies and Christian Ethics at Talbot School of Theology at Biola University in La Mirada, California. He received his Ph.D. in social ethics at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles and also holds a Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary. Dr. Rae is the author of numerous books and articles and is the co-author of the Center’s book Bioethics: A Christian Approach in a Pluralistic Age (Eerdmans 1999). He has taught and pastored in Southern California for the past fifteen years and also serves as an ethics consultant for several California hospitals and medical centers.
