It focused on providing the layperson with a theologically sound perspective on bioethics, paying special attention to reproductive issues. To purchase the CD set, see page 7. After publishing a post-midnight press release just a couple hours after news broke about the South Korea cloning experiments, the Center was quoted in more than 30 news publications and interviewed on several local and national radio programs. Center President John F. Kilner was interviewed via satellite by the Washington, D.C., NBC affiliate, which in turn made the interview available to all NBC affiliates nationwide for their noon-time broadcast.
The Center has hired two research assistants to work on the Center’s Internet initiatives—Hans Madueme, a physician who recently graduated from Mayo Medical School, and Frederick Bernardo, a student in Trinity Graduate School’s bioethics degree program.
