
Dr. Randall Compton is Professor of English at LeTourneau University. He is the author of The Sky’s Larger Frame, a volume of poetry. His work has appeared in Southwestern American Literature, Concho River Review, and St. Katherine’s Review as well as other journals. He is interested in the intersection between literature and theology as well as in the historical development of popular literary forms such as detective fiction and science fiction. Dr. Compton holds degrees from Reformed Theological Seminary (MDiv), the University of North Texas (PhD), San Angelo University (MA), and Covenant College (BA). He and his wife, Mary, have lived in Longview for nineteen years and have four children as well as two grandchildren.
