Dr. Jonathan Lett is Associate Professor of Theology and Director of the Faith, Science, and Technology Initiative at LeTourneau University. His teaching and research sit at the intersection of Christian doctrine, moral philosophy, and technology, and are animated by a pressing question: What does it mean to be human in a world being rapidly reshaped by technology? He is the author of Karl Barth as Theologian of Nature: Christ and the Order of Creation, and is currently writing two books—an academic monograph arguing that the Christian doctrine of creation can provide a moral framework for navigating biotechnologies of human enhancement, and a popular-level book on Christian formation in a digital age. Dr. Lett holds degrees from Cedarville University (BA), Duke Divinity School (MDiv), and the University of St Andrews (PhD). He and his wife, Amy, have four children and call Longview home.
