Joel Pacyna is a research assistant in the Biomedical Ethics Research Program at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He is actively involved at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Pine Island, MN where he teaches theology and coordinates Christian education. Joel's ethics interests include ethical issues in genomic technology, patient experiences in healthcare, and the role of empirical ethics in the normative work of Christian bioethics. He and his wife Joy have two daughters and a son.
