Jeffrey G. Betcher, MD, FRCPC, MA, is a physician and bioethics scholar with a background in both clinical practice and academic research. He has served as an Associate Professor at the University of Saskatchewan, where his research spans clinical pharmacy, patient safety, and ethical considerations in healthcare. As a physician-scholar, his bioethics work integrates clinical expertise with ethical inquiry, focusing on patient safety, quality of life, and the social dimensions of healthcare. His contributions appear in academic journals, ethics publications, and public commentary. Betcher retired from clinical practice in November 2023, but has continued teaching a modular introductory course to the undergraduate students at Millar College.
