D. Christopher Ralston, PhD, currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Bioethics at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He was formerly in the Publishing & Ministry Resources department at Joni and Friends International Disability Center. Before this he was the Manager of the Public Policy Center at JAF and the senior editor of the Journal of the Christian Institute on Disability. He is the co-editor of two edited book volumes—Philosophical Reflections on Disability (2009) and The Development of Bioethics in the United States (2013)—and serves as a fellow of The Center for Bioethics & Human Dignity’s Academy of Fellows. He is a graduate of Biola University (BA, Communications; MA, Philosophy of Religion and Ethics), Trinity International University (MA, Bioethics), and Rice University (PhD, Philosophy). His research and writing draws on his own experience as a person with a physical disability, and centers around issues at the intersection of disability, theology, and ethics.
