The six chapters in the first part of this book provides an overview of clinical ethics, relating it to professional and organizational ethics, to research and psychiatric ethics, and to the legal context in the U.S. The several ethical obligations noted above are developed in the second part of the book, while the third part focuses on ethical problems that arise in particular cases, including reproductive and life-and-death decisions. The new edition is informed by the extensive literature in clinical, ethical, and legal topics relevant to these problems. (Publisher)
