Matthew Eppinette, M.B.A., M.A., is Communications Director at Americans United for Life (Chicago, Illinois) and Operations Consultant for The Center for Bioethics & Human Dignity (Bannockburn, Illinois).  He received a B.S. in Business Management and Administration from Louisiana State University in Shreveport, an M.B.A. from Louisiana Tech University, and an M.A. in Bioethics from Trinity International University, where his thesis was entitled Bodiless Exultation? Transhumanism and Embodiment.

At Americans United for Life Mr. Eppinette oversees several areas of corporate communications including traditional media, internet and new media, and direct mail.  Having served previously as Assistant Director and Director of Research and Analysis at the Center for Bioethics & Human Dignity, Mr. Eppinette consults on Center operations as needed.

A chapter authored by Mr. Eppinette, “Human 2.0: Transhumanism as a Cultural Trend,” appears in Everyday Theology: How to Read Texts and Interpret Trends (Baker Academic, 2007).  He is currently co-authoring a chapter for a book on new media (blogging, podcasting, vlogging, etc.).  Tentatively titled, The New Media Frontier, the book is slated for publication in 2008.

Mr. Eppinette is a member of The Center for Bioethics & Human Dignity, the American Society for Bioethics & Humanities, The Hastings Center, the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and the Chicago Area Direct Marketing Association.

Matthew and his wife Ginger live in Chicago.
