Press Kit
In our burgeoning biotech century, numerous opportunities and perils have emerged that would appear to have come straight from science fiction: human cloning, genetic engineering, creation of human/animal chimeras, synthetic biology, and transhumanism to name a few.
The Center for Bioethics & Human Dignity exists to analyze and engage trends in biomedicine and biotechnology by promoting human dignity as the foundational principle in distinguishing what we should and should not pursue in matters of life and health. CBHD seeks to help individuals and organizations address these pressing bioethical challenges of our day, as well as the broad range of bioethical issues such as healthcare allocation, neuroethics, end-of-life treatment, genetic intervention, euthanasia and assisted suicide, and reproductive technologies.
